Open Water

The main advantage of open water is you don't have to worry about different things, but their are still real dangers in open water diving. People don't realize that you can die just as easily in open water as you can any other scuba diving type of recreation. Open water in fact could be more dangerous for a number of reasons. First more people tend to open water so it will be more crowded than other forms of diving.

Secondly open water swimming is another popular thing that you will have to watch for. More and more people are taking boats out and doing open swimming more than every which is making it more dangerous for people who are open water diving. One thing that many people don't think about are the other perils that you will deal with in open water scuba diving and that is animals that you will encounter in the water. Sharks are usually in deeper water, but that doesn't mean you won't encounter them among other creatures. Open water diving can be very tricky if you are not properly taught about it.

Open water is still very popular despite some of the dangers you may face doing it. Ocean waves are another thing that people sometimes get caught in and don't really pay attention to when your in open water. Though probably the number one mistake made by open water divers are not knowing how much air they have or how far they are actually away from the surface. This is the mistake that can cost you your life if your not real careful. Knowing your surroundings is very important when we talk about open water. People enjoy themselves so much they forget where they are at and sometimes lose their sense of direction. This is what happens when someone is inexperienced or not properly trained.

Before anyone goes into the open water they should be properly trained in the technics of the under water world and scuba diving. This will prevent anything bad happening to them or anyone with them. Life is precious and must be treated that way when we talk about open water fun.
